It’s finally here. After a long winter of occasional hibernation, spring has arrived. With warmer mornings and longer, more leisurely days on the horizon, brunch will become a seasonal staple right through to patio season. I had the pleasure of welcoming spring a little early last week at Drake One Fifty as they launched their new brunch menu with the help of Perrier.
Inspired by Paris, the beautiful brunch boasted refreshing cocktails made with Perrier and a $35 prix fixe menu that featured homemade blueberry scones, maple syrup infused french toast, eclairs and of course, your choice of traditional brunch faves – eggs benedict, traditional breakfast and more.

Already a popular destination for after-work cocktails, Drake One Fifty will start serving brunch on April 2nd. And although the Financial District can be a bit quiet over the weekend, it’s worth considering given the long line-ups at other brunch hot spots and with Chef Ted Corrado and Chef de Cuisine Jon Pong crafting the menu, you won’t be disappointed. And when patio season does (finally) arrive, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a mimosa before hitting up a Jays game.
